Our Story
World renowned researcher Dr. Barbara Fredrickson has been studying positive emotions since in 1998. Dr Fredrickson says,“Just as water lilies retract when sunlight fades, so do our minds when positivity fades.”

Good Day Cork is a media space – offline, print and social media – that is about creating and celebrating positivity by shining a light on the good things happening in our County.

We began in 2018 with a print magazine which has a readership of over 4000. We also began hosting different collaborative events to amplify the positivity in us and our community.
