Winter Solstice Reflection

So just like mother earth is in her stillness, this is a natural and indeed powerful time for us to take time out, to reflect, to move inwards into a slumber of spiritual hibernation. So I urge you during this time to slow right down. To let go of the frantic pace happening around you…. and simply be still.

Light a fire, light a candle, and snuggle up in a warm cosy blanket with a good book. Have a cat purr on your lap. Meditate, sleep and dream good dreams. Be silent. Slow down and focus inward with the intention of letting go of all that no longer serves you. Surrender to the process as you feel yourself in harmony with the stillness of the earth.

As we move towards Christmas Day, the earth begins to waken and she moves again towards the light. During these three days of resurrection between the Solstice and our celebration of Christmas, it is a powerful time to set intentions for the year ahead. This is truly the time of the New Year! It is a time to receive this incoming light and energy, and as our earth moves back towards the light and towards spring, so do you.
It is a time to set the seeds of intention for events and projects.
Wishing you a very Happy Solstice and a very Happy Christmas!
