Gosh.. I keep coming back to softness..being soft..leading with softness. It’s one of the many things I struggle to embody, to deal with this uncertain, messy, and beautiful world.

To embody softness, I have to practise it everyday! Similar to preparing for a marathon, or in my case Kathak exam… the point is it’s damn hard.

It’s not impossible.

Everytime, I am amazed at how much softness our internal resources can embody. Aren’t you?

Another word for soft is tender. But with the word tender, I don’t mean fragile nor delicate. I use it to describe softness. The kind of softness that helps me understand another person and helps me do my best.

Everyday I try to be soft. And on the days that I can’t, there’s usually an apology around the corner or deep regret. Dare I say that as far as I am concerned, being soft is like breathing.

For me, there are other feelings too that feel like essential breaths. Be it rage, joy, wonderment, confusion to name a few.

Please let me know if you too are practising softness? Or do you have a completely different take on it? {You can use the contact button below.}

I will end this little post with a consensual digital hug for you- cause probably you’re in need of a soft hug!

PS: In this slow blog am doing my best to only represent my personal lived experience. I am open to be called out if I am preaching at you.
