Get involved with writing the Cork Anti-Racism & Inclusion Charter
By Team Cork Anti-Racism & Inclusion Charter
The Cork Anti-Racism and Inclusion Charter is a community-informed document that reflects the experiences, priorities, and recommendations of migrant and minority communities living in Cork.
This charter will be developed through a participatory consultation process with community stakeholders.
Two structured consultation meetings will be held for participants to discuss racism in local contexts, identify key priorities, and contribute ideas for actions that support equality, inclusion, and anti-racism in Cork.
This process recognises that racism intersects with other forms of discrimination such as gender inequality, socio-economic disadvantage, migration status, and cultural exclusion.
Following the consultation process, the charter will be finalised and formally launched in Cork, bringing together community representatives, councillors, campaigners, and partner organisations.
The aim of the programme is to strengthen dialogue, community participation, and collective commitment to tackling racism at a local level.
