Heritage Bazaar
Documentary exploring the role of ethnic grocery shops in sustaining cultural identity.
This radio documentary takes off from our previous one titled ‘Kitchen Stories‘ that delved into the homes of a few Cork citizens to understand what dinner time looks like for them.
In ‘Heritage Bazaar’ we invite the multi talented and Cork native, Daniel Heaphy to accept the challenge of making chai. Through the challenge, Daniel interviews various guests to explore the importance of having access to traditional ingredients and groceries and how this helps a person hold on to their cultural identity while living in a new country.
Our radio documentary is created with generous support from CESCA & Cork City Partnership – SICAP.
