Poetry for 'Being Human Playbook'

Good Day Cork is open for poetry submissions that support peace-building and promote anti-racism.

Good Day Cork welcomes poetry submissions to perform at next Wild Ones Salon on 21st March 2026, 2:30pm to 4pm in Cork City Library. The theme for this Salon is inspired by World Poetry Day and anti-racism. 

Theme: Being Human PlayBook 

We’re looking for poetry that supports peace-building and being actively anti-racist.

The chosen contributors will receive an honorarium of €30.

Deadline: 15th March 2026

Submissions must be send to features.gooddaycork@gmail.com 

Eligibility:

1] Age 16+.  

2] One submission per person only.

3] Submissions are welcome from Cork-based women & all minority genders from varied social & cultural backgrounds. 

4] If your poetry is chosen, you must be available to perform and engage in discussions at Wild Ones Salon event on 21st March , 2:30pm to 4pm, Cork City Library.

5] If you’re age 16+ , you must be accompanied with an adult at the event .

Guidelines:

1] Your submission can be in any language. Please provide an English translation. 

2] Poetry must be an original and can not be AI generated.

3] Previously published poetry is acceptable.
